The English love their plants, and despite the frequently wet, cold and rainy weather, get outside as often as they can. I took these photos last week of a bluebell wood on the farm where we now live. The bluebells come out every spring and the Brits look forward to their blossoming. Going for a walk in a bluebell wood is a highlight of the season; many of the acres of bluebell woods are centuries old. This time of year, when the clouds disappear, I’m glad to be here.
