It’s hard to believe, but 15 years ago today, my husband and I were married in the chapel of his college (Magdalene, for those who may be curious) at Cambridge University. It was cold but sunny, an absolutely beautiful day to say “I do.” My second biggest highlight of that day was getting to sit, in my wedding dress, in C.S Lewis’s chair in what used to be his room there. (I’ve got a picture…it’s around here somewhere, in one of those unpacked boxes.)
We’ve certainly been through “better or worse” and though we don’t know what the future holds for us, I can’t think of anyone else I’d want to travel this road with.
